Gallery Connect (a sole proprietorship) runs a messaging assistant for visitors to local artists' studio shows. This policy covers the information we handle when you text or WhatsApp us.
What we collect
- Your phone number and, on WhatsApp, your profile name.
- The messages you send us and our replies.
- Whether you've opted in to show announcements, and when.
- If you request a studio visit: the name, interests and preferred times you give us.
How we use it
- To answer your questions about artworks.
- To send verification codes you request.
- To send show announcements, only if you opted in.
- To pass your visit request to the artist, who decides whether to follow up.
Who it's shared with
The artist sees questions and visit requests about their work, so they can follow up. We use service providers to run the service: Twilio (message delivery), Google Cloud (hosting and storage) and Anthropic (the AI that drafts replies). They process data only to provide those services to us.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.
We don't sell your information.
How long we keep it
Conversation history is kept for up to 12 months so the assistant can pick up where you left off. Opt-in records are kept as long as you're subscribed, plus the period required to show you consented.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to stop all messages.
- Email galleryconnect@curatorbit.com to see or delete what we hold about you; we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 18.
